Recently sites and forums have been created that involve celebrity mma fights, simulated with UFC 2 or stories written.
There is also another site that uses the simulator this forum uses, but the setup here will be different.
The fights will be simulated in the Ultimate MMA Simulator 2.0.7. The results of the fights will be posted on the forum, some example fights can be seen on the forum.
Since I am running this alone atm and I want to see how things are going, there will be limited manager and fighter spots for now. Also the reason why I won't bother setting up a website (figure out how).
Most of these sites/forums I joined only lasted for a few weeks or months.
I want to start with 10 managers including myself (5 spots left) and each manager is allowed to have 2 Strawweight fighters and 2 Bantamweight fighters.
I don't know how much time everything will take and how people will react to the fights, it's better to start small and if things are going well, more spots will open up.
People are free to pick the female celebrity they want, unless someone else is managing her already.
Strawweight fighters are up to 117lb - 53kg
Bantamweight fighters are till 141lb - 64kg
Want to know how to find their weight? Use this website: healthyceleb.com/
People will be expected to role-play as manager and as their fighters, open fight nights will require fighters to challenge other fighters. Other fights will be premade, so that every fighter gets to fight and be able to improve themselves.
Managers are to expected to PM their fighters fighting strategy in time.
Fighters can improve their stats by winning fights and maybe other things (will see how things progress), so managers are expected to PM which stat they want to increase.
When picking a fighter one of the first things to consider is their fighting style, since it will influence their starting stats. The first 190 points will be allocated based on the fighting style you pick for your fighter, you are not allowed to allocate the first 190 points yourself.
I want this to be more considered as a game, instead of just checking how the fight went every month.
Fighting Styles:
Boxer
Karate
Kickboxer
Muay Thai
Tae Kwon Do
MMA
Judo
Jiu Jitsu
Greco-Roman
Freestyle Wrestler
Their are 19 different stats divided in 5 categories:
Striking
Punches
Kicks
Clinch Striking
Clinch Grappling
Takedowns
Ground
Ground and Pound
Ground Game
Submissions
Defense
Dodging
Takedowns Defense
Submissions Defense
Fitness
Strength
Agility
Conditioning
Toughness
KO Resistance
Mental
Heart
Control
Aggressiveness
Each stat has a maximum of 20 points, allowing a fighter to have 380 points in total. Each fighter will begin with 190 points, not all 380 points can be earned (everyone with perfect fighters isn't interesting).
Each fighter will begin with the status of Rookie and can be increased by winning fights (Rookie-Prospect-Prime-Veteran-Diva-Legend). A fighter's status will also determine how high a certain stat can be.
Rookie - 13
Prospect - 14
Prime - 15
Veteran - 16
Diva - 17
Legend - 18
Mental stats will be increased by status, but you can still spend points on it.
